Great Planes Ultimate
The following pictures are of a Great Planes Ultimate Bipe that was built for a customer in the Philadelphia, PA area. Construction is pretty straightforward and is typical of most Great Planes kits. The only modification that I made to the stock kit design was the addition of 1/16″x1/2″ sheeting strips in both the wings and fuse where the color breaks in the trim scheme are. This allows me to break the covering when using Monokote instead of covering with one solid color and adding trim colors. This project was rushed into my schedule to be completed in time for the customers IMAC training. The Ultimate was ready to fly in about 5 days from start. If you have any questions or comments concerning the construction of the Great Planes Ultimate please feel free to email me.
