The following pictures are of a Vailly Aviation Hawker Hurricane built for a customer in Louisiana. The Hurry was built from a short kit cut by Lazer Lizard and was a “bare-bones” build only. The bottom of the wings and fuse were left open for the customer to install gear and finish. As shown in the pictures, the fuse was constructed on a jig made from some spruce sticks mounted to a heavy section of 2×10. The fuse stayed on the jig up until the time I cut her loose to finish building the bottom side of the wing fillets. If you have any questions or comments concerning the construction of the Vailly Hurricane please feel free to email me.
